Mayor Lungo-Koehn Launching “Mobile Office Hours” Throughout the Community Beginning June 24th

Once each month beginning in June, constituents invited to join the Mayor at local businesses, parks, etc. to discuss local issues, or just to say hello!

MEDFORD – Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced this week that, beginning on Thursday, June 24th and continuing once per month on an ongoing basis, she will visit with community members at various locations throughout the City of Medford. Launching a “Mobile Office Hours” initiative, Mayor Lungo-Koehn hopes to continue to meet with residents and business owners/employees in the coming months to hear about items of concern, answer questions, or just to say hello (in person!) as the community continues to recover from the global pandemic and its continuing impacts.

On Thursday, June 24th, Mayor Lungo-Koehn invites residents to join her for a cup of coffee or a tasty treat between 9 and 10 a.m. at the Danish Pastry House (330 Boston Ave.)

“For me, involving the community in all that we do within City government is important and something I care deeply about. Over the last year and a half we have not had many opportunities to work together, face-to-face, and I want to create as many opportunities as possible to do just that,” said Mayor Lungo-Koehn. “I want to meet residents and business owners and employees where you are – out at a local business, at a playground with your family, or wherever you happen to be. I am really looking forward to meeting with our community members and hearing directly from you about issues that you care most about.”

In coming months, the Mayor will host Mobile Office Hours at locations including but not limited to parks and open spaces, local businesses, and municipal buildings.

No prior appointments are needed for Mobile Office Hours, however depending on the number of constituents in attendance, time limits may be placed on each one-on-one meeting.
